Potable Water Customer Assistance Program
Triunfo Water & Sanitation District is offering a $15 monthly discount on potable water bills to qualifying Oak Park customers. The program was unanimously approved by the TWSD Board of Directors. In light of the COVID-19 situation and the negative economic effect it has had on so many people, the Board members felt it was essential to offer some financial relief to eligible potable water customers.
To qualify for the monthly $15 water bill discount, customers must provide proof of eligibility by submitting a copy of their Southern California Edison or Southern California Gas bill showing enrollment in the California Alternative Rates for Energy (CARE) program. Alternatively, customers may submit a copy of the first page of their federal tax return (or Form SSA 1099 if only Social Security income) to validate compliance with the income thresholds established by the CARE program. (The maximum annual income limit for a 1-2 person household is $34,480).
